My name is Ciara Brooke.
I am a singer, songwriter, and recording artist from Oklahoma. I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma’s Academy of Contemporary Music in December of 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Music Production. Since graduating I have been writing, recording music, performing shows all over Oklahoma, and growing my career as an artist and musician.
In 2018 I performed at two schools, Jennings and Peckham, providing music education and entertainment for the students. It’s my hope to continuing reaching students through music and I believe the public school system is the perfect environment to do that.
One of my top priorities as an artist is to be a positive role model for young children and teens and to provide them with music that is both positive and uplifting, yet allows them to let loose and have a good time. It’s very important to me that my image and my brand remain clean and wholesome, as I only want to inspire and uplift students as I encourage them to be themselves and enjoy their lives that are a gift.
Along with entertaining through performance, I also aim to educate them on the music industry as it stands today with its many different career options and positions such as: band or artist manager, entertainment law, booking agent, sound engineer, music producer, talent scout/A&R, creative director, etc.
I did not have any current music education while I was in elementary, middle, and high school, and I think if I would have, I may have pursued music as a viable career option sooner.
I would love to come to your school for an assembly, party, or event and perform for your students. The program consists of a 45 minute performance of original songs from my albums and covers of popular songs your students all know by heart. After the performance, I teach on the songwriting process, provide a brief overview of the music industry, and end with time for questions from the students. I’ve found from my previous school appearances that the Q&A works best with the middle school and high school students, so the elementary school students likely leave right after the performance.
I do not have a set payment requirement for my school shows. Every school is different, and budgets reflect that. I will work with your school on payment options, and search for the best outcome for both parties.
My only requirement is that I am allowed to bring and sell my merchandise at the event and that the school send home a flyer (that I will provide) with the students at least one week prior to the show.
I’m currently booking school assemblies and events for the 2019 Spring semester. If your school is interested in having me I would love to set up a date and time as soon as possible.
